Cavalry considerations...

Having played only one FoG2 playtest I may be out to lunch, so tell me if I am...

I understand that now Cav will be able to retire (turn 180 move turn 180) when in skirmisher. I think this is fantastic. One thing I THINK is wrong (tho maybe I haven't got it right) is that they can't turn 180 and move. This seems i consistant. A unit of Cav that have (the previous turn) evaded should surely be able to make the less complicated move of turning around and advancing?

Have I got the new rule wrong?

you have it wrong (obviously I explained it badly in our playtest).

Under the current proposals they can do both.

No mate, the Inca are just invincible.

Anyone with any self respect on a horse shouldn't be running away anyway.
