*check sum for buying the ist grouping seams odd, you can fiddle to buy what you want but seems like it wants an all or nothing aproach to the 2 units in the ist block

*same issue Hungarain Allies ist block, also: adding or changing # of units in the second block (cumans) adds or deletes units you bought in ist block

This is correct, witha few exceptions all the troops in a highlighted block have to be the same weapons, armour, quality etc. So if you have 4

knights

from line 1 of the list and select any

knights and strzelcy

from line two, both in the same highlighted block, then ALL will change to

knights and strzelcy

. There are many troop types with this type of restriction in every DAG. The only exception to this rule are commanders who are usually allowed to be either time. So if change 4 knights to knights & strzelcy leaves you with 1 knight look at your commanders and 1 is probably a knight.

Really? Because with or without a commander you can "fiddle" with it and get any combo you want (not just this list in particular but many lists in all expansions..)
makes me wonder if half my armies i use are tecnically "ilegal" from the design intent, gulp/

Ok, I wont push this issue any more and seek other bugs and assorted pests:)

Well, I stand corrected, at least with these lists , i swear i made an illegal combo by fiddling around, but try as I could i couldnt break the system this go around, feel free to zapp this thread to clear up non issue clutter
