People seem to be asking for PG2 type leaders in the general section, as well as a PG2 leader Icon. Any thoughts or feedback about this idea?

I"d vote for it.

BTW, the red crosshairs icon always looks a little... in-developmentish to me.

As I already wrote in the off. forum (non-beta forum) I would like more a diamond or something like that at the edge of the box.

Personally I always hated those icons :P Combining them with the fuel & ammo icons would probably have been more elegant. Move ability is strongly related to fuel, Attack ability to ammunition. Something like:

Can move, normal fuel: Green arrow
Can move, low fuel: Yellow arrow
Can move, out of fuel: Red arrow
Can't move, normal fuel: No arrow
Can't move, low fuel: No arrow
Can't move, out of fuel: Red arrow

I like that plan Lukas - I hate all the icons we have and would gladly remove as many as possible. I certainly dont want more :)

This is a great idea. but I would also like a unit leader icon, maybe not as big as the demo one proposed.

What about a soft glowing effect in the strength box, for leader?
Would it be too distracting?

To be honest, I thought the previous proposals of showing smoke & dirt for moved & fired status on the units looked very cute :P

That must be before my time as a beta tester. Are there any images?

 They are so beautiful....
While I understand all the concerns mentioned in the that thread, I think it's the most artistic and beautiful solution.
It deserves an oscar.
Now I know that everything mentioned by the new players and also by myself was already fully debated through development.
That thread is the closest thing to a possible making of Panzer Corps. What I've missed.
Thanks for sharing. Maybe one day it can be shared to all community.

Thanks for allowing me to view those pics and read your development thoughts. Some great ideas floated around there but I would say the best presentation was what was decided on for the release IMO.
