Ingame Music

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum, feel free to move.

I've added some historically correct ingame music by replacing the existing mp3 files in the music directory.

It works fine with the "ingame1.mp3 - ingame3.mp3" files, but I would like to add a longer track list.

Is this possible, can I just add "ingame4.mp3" and so on ?

No, the game does not expect any additional files.

You can combine single soundfiles with a program like GoldWave. So you can have a single soundfile playing for a hour.

Haha epic. But that's got a slightly russian tune to it, ain't it ?

I guess I could do a track from all old PG series music, now here's an idea !

Actually I've got some German newsreels (Wochenschau) running in the background right now. Adds lots of atmosphere.

Not quite, but at least you gave me an idea to do a quick search on Youtube. With the key words "WWII music playlist" one of the first ones was this little potpourri:

(One time I was watching the Norwegian film "Nine Lives" with my father, there was a scene where this particular song could be heard from a German barracks, sung rather poorly. "What pitiful singing," my father scoffed, "the Germans sang much better than that". He was but thirteen years old when the Germans surrendered in 1945, but he remembers clearly how one would hear German platoons singing a long way before one could see them, and Rose Marie was one of the more popular songs to sing, apparently. And apparently the Germans took singing about as seriously as marching.)
