Why not launch today?
The weekend is here and many folks are dying to play this game. So why wait until Monday if it's ready now? I tell you, too many games, especially ones that sell on Matrix, have this habit of launching the day after a long holiday or after a weekend. Folks want to game now. Am I right?
Well as, how strange this may seem, developers and publishers are most of the time human, so have children and families and from time to time need to sleep and attend to every day live. So although most weekends are already sacrificed and 100+ hour weeks are common in this industry, releasing after a weekend on a Monday is, at least for the humans working in this business, most welcome. So the whole team is fresh and ready on a Monday for support, feedback, problem solving and at your service. The weekend is here and many folks are dying to play this game. We understand this is not really acceptable, therefore our sincere apologies!

Cheers,

P.S. I understand your Q, but this is really the main reason, we just need a little pause from time to time, as a week after release feedback is almost constant, and we prepare servers, shops and for us finally a weekend off before the storm begins and this after months of 24/7 weeks for us getting the game done and out.

Hopefully this will be the first modRosseau wrote:I guess it's too late to properly rename it Panzer Korps.
