hairy field mats
at a show last year there was a firm selling matting which had long grass on. they were in sheets of varying sizes and colours. They looked great as wheat fields etc. But i cant find them anywhere on the web- anyone know the firm name etc?web details....cheers

In fact people "shave" the synthetic fur if they are too long. If that is for a gaming mat, the price is something to consider. Synthetic fur should be around 7.50€ 1.2 meters by 1 meter. The other options are better for modeling, but they could be quite expensive if you want to fill a whole table with them.Now to decide whether to choose the shaven look or not..
