Thine enemies that run away from me :D

To quote a favourite movie of mine

Mongol General: What is best in life?
Conan: To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.

Which I think was not a quote from any of the novels themselves

No it wasnt... my understanding is the original screenplay and script/storyline for CtB was actually based on Kull, another REH charactor.... they changed it last minute as they figured at least most people might know who Conan is vs Kull...

On a serious (or at least keep on topic) note, my favourite unit in game (at least for looks) are the heavy impact barbarian foot in the Foederate List... Nice , wish all the units in game had that definition and clarity.

English Men at Arms - they may not be the best units in the game but they are my favorite. I would have liked to have been at Agincourt with King Henry V .... on St. Crispin's Day!

I was intimating that the quote didn't come from any of REH's novels - Wikipedia comments that it came from the Secret History of the Mongols.

But to be back on-topic, if I can't be a bird, I would have liked to have been one of the surviving African Spearmen at Cannae.

That's more like it - so far we have an armoured Spanish ginete, an English man at arms (presumably with his bill) and a steady African spearman. Any more?
