First Impressions

After 5 Seconds:
Loaded fast. Reminded me a lot of Panzer General. The load screens bring out the inner armored warfare gaming fanatic in me.

After 5 Minutes:
Menus are easy to understand and navigate. Get to jump right into the game.

After 15 minutes:
The extended tutorial session is nice, especially for those just starting out with wargames. As a wargame veteran they did not annoy me. The tutorials also serve to show some of the differences between this game and the old PG. I enjoyed the animations,;
again very reminiscent of Panzer General (a good thing).

After 1 Hour:
I'm sold on the game. It is very true to its elder roots. The same fun factor is there with enough depth to make it enjoyable for newbs & wargamers alike.

Performance:
I had no performance issues, crashes, or other problems.


UI Usability:
The UI was easy to use, although I have the benefit of the similarity with PG menus of old. Overall the UI works well. My only suggestion is it would be nice to have the option to have unit information pop up over the unit or in the center of the screen that
the cursor is currently on, rather than having to glance way over to the right side of the screen.

PBEM++:
I did not try this option.

Editor:
Including a map editor is a good idea. I played around with it for a while. I didn't finish a map, but I appreciate being able to make maps/scenarios. It seems like it wouldn't take too long to getting used to the tools it has.

Overall: I would buy this game in a heartbeat (or less!). I'm really jazzed to see PG modernized and improved on without losing what made it so fun way back when.
