Problem unzipping.....

Hi,
I keep getting a prompt from my winzip that reads possible incorrect password.
Is it ok to copy and paste the password?

Trouble Shooting
If you have problems with the password make sure you have not copied any trailing spaces. If this fails try typing it manually remembering it is case sensitive.

You need WinRar or a similar decompression program to unzip/unrar/extract the launcher/installer.

If after trying to type the Password/PW by hand and the rar files still gives a corrupt error, you probably have a corrupt download, in this case please re-download and try again first.

I have downloaded the game twice...still getting the same prompt...Is there a faster way to download? It is taking 40 minutes...

I had a similar problem so after 3 attempts I simply hand or typed it instead of copy and paste and it worked at that point.

Edit: 40 minutes to DL?? It took less then 3 minutes for me.

I DL it again to make sure and 3minutes 5 seconds is all it took this time. Simply using my Cable Internet service here in Ontario Canada!

Type the password by hand, and make sure to try and use the latest WinRar version, you can get it for free here:

In the worst case you suffered a corrupt download twice...

Well...I have downloaded it 3 times and it still wont intall for me..Guess I will just buy it when released.

Let me help you as I have Dl the file 7 times to make sure and I have never got a corrupted file, so you may be stuck at a very simple part:

1 - Go here and DL this archive http://www.winmount.com/winmount-free.html it is free I think for 10 days or 30 not sure as I own the program and hardly use anything else. Or DL the extractor recommended on this site.

Once the Winmount program is installed and select it as default if required but not necessary.:

2 - on your desktop right-click and select new Folder and call it PanzerCorpsBeta5 (or whatever you want).

3 - Launch the DL Panzer File form your Downloads folder (the one you just DL form this site).

4 - once WinMount opens ONLY select the large extract button at the top of the application, select the folder on your desktop that you created (PanzerCorpsBeta5) as the place you want the files extracted to, it will open then you will get the prompt for a password.

5 - enter the one they gave us : sli-rc3-pc-24-06-11

6- it should not take very long to extract there (less then a minute or so).

7 - Now open the Folder (PanzerCoprsBeta5) on your desktop and launch the only file that should be there called (PanzerCorpsRC3) and install it as usual.

8- Voila the game should be installed, all you need to do is register it with the personal beta code they sent you and you should be good to go.

Anyways, I do hope this helps get you into the beta phase.

I am still getting a "data error" after hand typing in the code. Cap locks is not on.

Bad pw error should never be related to bad download. In that case Winrar would report corrupted/bad end of archive, not pw error. Good to see you've managed to solve it tho. When copy pasting, it might accidentally include the "end of line" (enter) character or something, resulting in a wrong result. I tend to paste in an empty notepad file when something like that happens, to make sure it's only pasting a single line (and all the required characters).
