Maxima/Minima in Anglo-Irish Armies with Irish Allies

Post by peteratjet »

Do the troops of allied Irish contingents in an Anglo-Irish army contribute to the overall maxima-minima, as allied Anglo-Irish contingents would?

At the moment I'm going with "No", as the Anglo-Irish list in Storm of Swords doesn't say they do, and it's not unreasonable that a larger pool of troops were available from the native Irish nobles. Probably.

I think the troops from an allied list counting against the main list's minima and maxima is an exception, so it is specified where it is the case. The Later Anglo Irish list states this for an Anglo Irish ally but not for an Irish one.

Now to see when Amazon are getting "Storm of Swords" in stock...
