Can you enlighten me as to the scale and basing conventions in Warmaster?

Shock Cavalry, Pikemen and I think Light Chariots (!!!!!) in WMA are based on a 20mm frontage and 40mm depth - which gives them greater offensive power in the rules - whilst (most) other troops are based on 40mm frontage and 20mm depth.

Sounds like you could just use two bases side by side as one base. (Perhap countting as a double base for pikes?)

Probably be ok RBS - so long as we are aware that there are quite a few WMA players out there and address compatibility issues.

Is there any chance you could post the full Warmaster basing schedule here? Is Warmaster 15mm or 10mm btw?

Figures are 10mm though inhave seen 15mm used.

Basing (10mm)- most 40 x 20 - facing is the big difference - Elephants, light chariots, phalanx, shock cavalry face the short edge while all others face the long side. Heavy/scythed chariots are based on 40mm square bases. Artillery on 40x20 and whuchever direction the player wants. Commanders are on round bases.
Numbers of figs per base are up to the player.
