I bought the Nintendo DS just to play Panzer Tactics actually.

I'd likely get a Vita just to play Panzer Korps on it.

As for sales, well, I have come to realize sales rarely will look encouraging in the realm of wargaming. Just not as many of us blokes as there are people that play shooters. Well not that I have access to sales figures. Personally I consider BBC Battlefield Academy to be the single greatest thing to come to wargaming in 10 years. And that includes supposedly awesome games like War in the Pacific. Because great is not assured just on the basis of mind numbing magnitudes of detail. And I have both games just so everone knows.

Not that I consider hand held game devices to be the perfect solution. Wanting a Xoom is one thing, finding 600 spare bucks is another. May well have to settle for my laptop being my 'portable gaming device'.

But wargaming will only come to the hand held market if it's sent there. And the only people likely wanting it to arrive are adults, and I suppose that means determining what machine adults are using the most.
