Rare bug with Free French

Release version on a Mac. Accepted armistice then Axis attacked Vichy (stupid I know). Axis sub tried to attack Free French in Abidjan port but no attack was allowed. Very rare problem, just thought you should know.

Are the Free French still neutral? Then you can't attack them. Remember that they won't become active to move until USA joins the Allies. The reason is that the Free French units are US owned.

Free France is activated when Vichy France is activated or in November 1942 if there is no Free France. So I guess an early DoW upon Vichy France activated the Free French early too, before USA has entered the war. E. g. the Germans can't attack the Russian or US units until they enter the war.

One more question for freedom France , when they land in north Africa in 1943 , the tank shows level 14 , but the picture of it is level 1-4 . Afterwards ,when it upgrades to level 15 , it changes to the same picture of US level 15 tank . Is this Bug ?

to Accepted armistice then Axis attacked Vichy is not stupid , sometimes it is useful ,because you destroy all french units including the fleet . It is important to gain a opportunity to let Italian fleet control Med . Also the Vichy Gar is very weak in southern france ,You can clean them by German INF in 2 turns after good preparation

Hi,

For the Free French they start with a French built tank. After progressing to the next level they will show US tanks

because they are US allies and received their material from the US.

No , they start with an English tank 1-4 level

This is not a bug. Paul has used different Allied images for the Free French.

Image level 0-2 show the same as the French image level 0-2 armor
Image level 3 shows the British Matilda and that's probably the reason for the confusion
Image level 4 shows the US Sherman
Image level 5 shows the image used for the highest level British tank before
Image level 6 the US image level 5 tank

I think that we could consider replacing the Matilda with US image level 2 tank. I will let Paul look into this.
