How come I never see the AI receiving awards and bonuses?

Maybe because the AI hasn't earned any?

Only German units are set to receive medals and heroes so far.

If you are playing as an Allied player, try feeding kills into a German AI unit, you'll see the pop up sooner or later.

Question.

It appears that awards and bonuses are too frequent.
It looks like it can alter the balance of a game.
So for no asking for a change.

What does everyone else think?

I disagree regarding the awards (not hero units), they just let you know how many strength kills you have and area wonderful flavor addition.

I don't have any problems with adding in flavour, but I'm a bit old-school where stuff like this (awards in a GUI) usually SHOULD do something useful (or affect something) besides just look-nice.

That is what heroes do, they give you bonuses, medals are awards for reaching a certain number of kills or exceptional behaviour in battle. We hope to give the whole system another update before release, but in principle a Hero will give you a bonus, a Medal is an award for battle kills/exceptional performance.

How come I never see the AI receiving awards and bonuses?

This version is centred around the Germans, the Allies will get their own later.
