online play problems (pc)

hello,
I do not seem to be able to play online games on my pc

When I click "play an internet game" , I arrive into the same screen as I do when I choose "play a multiplayer game"..? I do not seem to enter the gamespy gameroom server.. Or is it just that the gameroom is entirely empty (seems strange..)??

I have installed the patch 1.0101?

The screens for both online and LAN play are the same. It may well be that there aren't any people in the lobby. To be sure though, try going to the Gamespy website and check that your firewall is set up to correctly allow their lobby traffic.

It may be that there were no other players in the lobby. It's pretty quiet unfortunately :(
