"Humborium" Immortal Fire Campaign

Hi BlindSniper has joined our six player Immortal Fire Campaign based on the First Version of the Mighty Empires System from Games Workshop so keep an eye on this space for updates and calendar events of what happens.

I will be doing all the die rolling, event generation, playing independents as they pop up from the game and other evil GM goodies.. , you are expected to create armies (max 700pt, min 350pt) from the gold I give you, plan the downfalls of your enemies and fight FOG Digital battles as required....oh and download the free mapping tool that runs in Java from here so you can read the maps!!

Turns will be frequent and often (probably 2 a week to begin with) and I will try and ensure the pace continues even with some people locked in battles for provinces as I recognise that we are all busy and live in different time zones around the world.

1) I'm a new player, is it a problem? No problem if it is.
2) If no, I only have FoG base, do I need to purchase some expansions? I think Immortal Fire but others are required too...
3) I don't know the Mighty Empires System.

1) Excellent and your welcome Klay808 is brand new to gaming and Todd645 new to FOG Digital like me so your in a good place to start. Please note though some games may be uneven when it comes to battles when forces of disparate sizes fight each other but hey thats part of the fun and it then brings tactics, troop choices and terrain into play more than normal.

2) Yes if you could purchase Immortal Fire it would be appreciated although if you have fiscal issues (I'm married i know what they are like!!) then let me know via PM and we'll get you sorted with Cartho's or Republicans.

3) Thats fine you need to be quite old to know it, have a look up Games Workshop on the web and it'll give you a hint, apart from that i'll guide you as to what needs to be done.

Could you PM me your email please so i can send you maps and updates etc, and throughout I'l luse this thread to share a global diary for everyone.
