30 seconds: I liked the opening, cool but also abrupt. Map looks better than screenshots, but still hard to determine the scale. Is it standard each scenario? I need to look in the manual.
Icons are huge vs the map, sort of clunky. I would prefer more zoom levels also.
5 minutes: looks like many old PG issues have been resolved. I love being able to compare units and the various new things such as purchase.
First game: I was shocked when I had to repair units between scenarios in a campaign--good way to keep us honest with prestige.
I wish you could drive through an objective and it would be yours. Instead a unit must stop on it.
It was hard to tell which units are core units. The old PG made the strength # a different color.
Why can we still only upgrade in cities? Units should be able to do so anywhere as long as they are out of an enemy ZOC.
I love the ability to move units and shoot them later.
When tanks overrun a unit, you should get a bonus blitz move, like PG2.
It would be nice if we could know how many moves left for each time of victory.
I have an old Dell with Windows Vista, everything worked great! Good performance, not jumpy. Wish there was more epic music. I don't care for the old PG scenario briefings, no need to add them with the fake German accent.
UI is great, very easy and the pop up helps tremedously. Not sure about the library, either it is not finished or I did not navigate it well.
On to the next game!

Yes you will get Heroes as awards progressing through your campaign that can be attached to your units. A set of historic ones is still in production. They give small unit bonuses to your unit stats.
Use Alt+click to open the Unit Info menu, and the Battle History tab, here they will appear when you unlock/deserved them of course.

I like the unit view, but I did not get the impression that special abilities come with leaders and awards. Am I mistaken? I also do not understand why there are 3 slots to show the unit.
I have had several moments when I flew a plane out of range and it crashed the next turn. I did not see the red dots to tell me that the move was a bad one. Anyone else have this problem? It does not happen every time.
I think some of the larger weapons should have a firing range of 2 (like PG2).
Any unit should be able to claim a city. When I move a mechanized AA unit into the city it should change sides. AA guns and troops are just as capable of occupying a city as any other unit. I also still advocate that you shoul dbe able to drive through a city and not have to stop for it to change.
Recon vehicles should be able to resupply if they do not use all of there movement points. This is the flexibility of recon units.
Parachute infantry should be able to load aircraft from the 6 surrounding sides of an airfieeld. A/C should also be able to repair from those hexes. The old PG system that forced you to be on the actual hex was unnecessary. I also think parachute infantry should be able to load a/c even when a plane is "above" them. That was also unnecessary.
I like the UI, but I am still getting used to it. I need to learn the hotkeys better.
Will the cheat codes remain active when you release the new game?

AI Defense Strategy
The AI has a bad habbit of leaving a city to move forward and attack. It makes it too easy to go around, occupy the city, and hit Infantry in the open. This has happened in many of the early Russia battles including Moscow and Stalingrad.
