First Impression; GetDark

Thank you for selecting me to be a beta tester. I have included a few first impression comments below.

"We are very interested to hear your first impressions of the game. What were your impression after 30 seconds, 5 minutes, 15 minutes and an hour. If you could write these down and post them to the forum it would be very useful."

Performance. Is the game too slow on your PC? If yes, what problems exactly you experience, and what system configuration do you have?

The game ran great on my Windows 7 ASUS Laptop. Specs: Processor Intel i7 CORE, RAM 8GB, Graphics NVIDIA GTS 340M CUDA 1GB.
-I really liked the quick start up. I never really cared about splashy videos for the beginning of war games.
-The games runs great and besides a lack of animation on the units, is very smooth.

Usability and UI of the main screen. Is it intuitively clear how to control the game? Is the UI convenient? Do you like the existing mouse interface, or would you prefer a different one? What useful information do you miss in the UI sidebar or the main map view?
-The opening splash screen is logical.
-I am hoping I can figure out how to turn on an overlay with names of terrain, cities, and key objectives. That would be a nice features, especially if it is tied to real life historical locations and copies of actually WW II maps.
-the controls are logical and I had no problems starting the game without reading the instructions.

PBEM++. We have a great multiplayer system that we would really like you to try out and let us know your thoughts. The more that can try it and give us their feedback the better!
If you like designing your own maps and scenarios try out the editor.
-Have not got to this part yet but looking forward to it.
