Hi all,
I'm a new player (just bought the game some days ago) and I'm trying to understand how the game system works.
Quick question for the veteran players out there:
The manual says that Foot with supporting LF armed with missile weapons and who are being charged by Mounted gets 6 attacks (4 at impact and 2 as missile combat), but exactly, when it happens?
I mean, I have to set adjacent LF with bow, javelins etc... in never evade mode, the 2 attacks as missile combat are rolled before the enemy cavalry resolve the impact combat or what?
I have tried to simulate this situation but as defender I only get 4 dice, what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Impact combat question about number of attacks
You arnt doing anything wrong, the 2 two exta dice arnt displayed in the normal viewing area. Use one of th ehot keys (cant recall which one) to get the verbiose black box that shows much more data.BlindSniper wrote:Hi all,

Basically only heavy or medium infantry would have light foot support and they cant evade so nothing to set. They get the xtra dice ONLY when charged into their front by mounted(impact combat) They dont get it in melee, nor when they themselves charge.

Re: Impact combat question about number of attacks
This is for HF/MF with LF included within the BG, not with separate LF BGs deployed next to them. This is more obvious in the TT rules where the supporting archers are actually separate stands within a BG instead of only included with the BG "counter". Armies like the Dominate Romans and many medieval armies get HF thd/or MF with the supporting archers within the BG.BlindSniper wrote:Hi all,

Hotkey H I think.Use one of th ehot keys (cant recall which one) to get the verbiose black box that shows much more data.
Pretty clear. They get the xtra dice ONLY when charged into their front by mounted(impact combat) They dont get it in melee, nor when they themselves charge.
I thought that were involved two separate BGs, now I understand. This is for HF/MF with NC ludedrt included within the BG, not with separate LF BGs deployed next to them.
Thanks for your answers, I never played this game before and something is still unclear.
