Looting bug

This has happened in 2 games. I moved a unit into the bottom corner (bottom right in one game and bottom left in the other) of my side of the map and it commenced looting a non-existent camp and remained doing so until the end of each game. In both cases the enemy camp had been successfully looted already (not sure this last fact is relevant).

I think it is relevant and this has been reported before... more than once if my memory serves me correctly.

Do you think they might be digging for treasure? A coin hoard, perhaps?

These days we tend to dig up Roman, viking, Saxon etc. gold hoards... I wonder whose loot the Romans or Greeks would be digging up
