Something new: if a unit contacts an enemy unit in the rear while pursuing a routed unit, the rear-contacted unit drops a cohesion level.
I don't think I like it. It's not in the TT rules and I don't recall anyone on the forums requesting this new feature. I'm wondering why it's in the game and how other's are reacting to it. Your thoughts?

I actually like it, encourages more formal battle lines and increases the risks of trying to form ahistorical tercio squares or wagon lager of units facing in all directions. IMHO why should it be considered tactically sound to have one of your units facing away from the rear of one of your other units( ie rear to rear) that is about to rout?
I didn't like it at first but now think the good outweighs the bad with this new rule. You have to be a lot more wary of the contagion effect of having your line broken and I think that is an improvement. You do get a few strange results because of the seemingly random nature of rout routes and distances which can be a negative.

I don't like it, mainly because of the inconsistencies... see here for the details viewtopic.php?t=24029deeter wrote:Something new: if a unit contacts an enemy unit in the rear while pursuing a routed unit, the rear-contacted unit drops a cohesion level.
