First off, thanks for allowing me to participate in your beta testing!!!!
I downloaded and installed the game. I had no trouble with that at all.
30 seconds into game I was very happy to see how much it resembled PG. I quickly went to the tutorial.
5 minutes
Tutorial- Was not really much of a tutorial in the sense that it was guided. If I hadn't played PG before I would not have known about a few things. Graphics and usability was good. I think maybe the buttons and explanations of what each button does was too small.
-Couple more observations while playing the tutorial--- Why after you capture your las objective doesn't the scenario say you have won?? I can only assume that it is because the computer has not completed it's turn yet to see if you can hold your objective, but I am not sure.
-Also, I would like to have seen some sort of indication on the ground troops that shows that they have transportation available to them or not
Speed and performance were not a issue for my 2 yr old PC. I would expect this game to not tax most systems since it is strategy based and not a 1st person shooter. Say that though I thought the graphics were excellent and was able to distinguish the different units from one another.
I look forward to playing more when I have more time and appreciate the fact that someone is finally bringing this type of game back for us to play. Great work guys!!!

Yes, this is exactly the reason. You need to "prove" that your possession of the objectives is firm.F8EXT wrote:--- Why after you capture your las objective doesn't the scenario say you have won?? Thanks for feedback!
I have went through a couple more of the tutorial scenarios. One thing that keeps bugging me as I play is the left/right mouse button. I keep wanting to use the left button to do my attacks and movements, ect.... Is there anyway to give the option to the player as to what functions the mouse has?
I would like to suggest and this might be something that would cause a major change. But is there a way to some how when moving the pointer of the mouse over a unit that it gives a brief description right at the pointer as opposed toi having to look over to the right hand side of the screen? Minor annoyance, I am sure but would be helpful.
And 1 last thing, is there the option to "name" your core units? I might not have gotten to that point yet as I am still in the tutorial's but I remember in PG/PG2 that it was nice to be able to name your core units that followed with you to help you distinguish between 2 similar units.

I'll see what I can do.F8EXT wrote:I have went through a couple more of the tutorial scenarios. One thing that keeps bugging me as I play is the left/right mouse button. Could you please elaborate more on this? In what form exactly the information will popup?F8EXT wrote: I would like to suggest and this might be something that would cause a major change. You can use Alt+N hotkey to rename the units.F8EXT wrote: And 1 last thing, is there the option to "name" your core units? What I am referring to is when you move your mouse over a unit is gives a description of the unit over to the right in the menu window. What I was suggesting was if you might get a pop up by the pointer. I read on another post ans I cannot remember who posted it but maybe instead of popping up a window by the pointer with the unit details put them in either the top or bottom of the border window. It is more of a visual thing to me and I am sure once I play the game more I will become familiar with the layout better.
