Bug in a 2.010 game that had a 2.008 turn

Post by richardsd »

In my game as the Axis I have placed a newly built sub in Keil, which subsequently can't be moved.

I suspect this is related to the 2.008 issue, but just in case, if you are playing a 2.010 game that included a 2.008 turn you might want to avoid placing a new sub in Keil if you can.

It has nothing to do with Kiel. It has to do if you actually did something that made the game do removefrommap. It does that when you load/unload a transport, use a paradrop or ferry crossing. Then the unit changed was deleted from the unit list since it was generated again. So the unit list would then end up with a pointer error and the next unit in the list could be affected. It means the next unit is corrupted and you can do anything with it.

So I propose replayed from the last turn before hotfix 08 was added.
