Gibralter again

Apologies if this has been dealt with (i half-remember this coming up before), but should it be possible for gibralter to ever be out of supply? Happened to me when Axis invaded Spain.

I am on GS v2.00.07.

To follow up, does Gibraltar show 1 PP ?

Happened to me yesterday. Had 2-sp's in Gibralter but couldn't resupply after Spain fell. Game started with 2.07

I tried to take out Spain as the Axis and then attack Gibraltar. The British had supply level 3 and could repair.

Do you see 1 production in Gibraltar? You have to use the latest scenario files because we changed that a few weeks ago.

Don't think it was showing a PP, and I think opponent was on same version. Was it because the Axis bombed the port?

I always wondered whether bombing the city would affect its supply ability.....

I just tested it and I noticed that if you bomb the city production down to 0 it will cease to be a supply source until it produces above 0. That means you can bombard units out of supply.

This means there is an inconsistency between fortresses and cities because cities always provide supply level 3 regardless of bombardment.

We need to fix this one way or another and I want you to vote on what you want.

1a. Make it possible to bombard ALL capitals, cities and fortresses so they cease to exist as supply sources with supply level 3 once bombard production down. Major country capitals will still provide supply level 5 from the capital and out to the cities. So this change will only affect isolated cities. Supply will be cut when the city name is shown with red color. That means the internal strength in the city is bombarded down to 2 steps remaining.

1b. Fix the inconsistency so fortresses with production > 0 will always provide supply regardless of bombardment
