Fired Units?

I'm curious, in the current version is there a way to tell if a unit has fired yet or not? This problem has been biting me in the ass. Maybe I'm missing the obvious here, was just waiting for it to be implemented.

Experience Ratio = (def exp level + 2)/(att exp level + 2)
Entrenchment Ratio = (def entr rate + 1) /(att entr rate + 1)

Not that I know.
