There is very little information about the battle so I have had to use my "historical imagination" to construct the scenario. I was able to find out the following . . .
Present at the battle - Royalists, Sir Thomas Rokeby, High Sherriff of Yorkshire; Rebels, Henry Percy Earl of Northumberland, Lord Thomas Bardolf, the Abbot of Hailes and the Bishop of Bangor
Troop numbers - not known, not very large, thought to be fairly even.
Troop composition - Royalists, noble retinues from Yorkshire, local levies; Rebels, Northumbrian retinues and levies, lowland Scots, some churchmen.
Terrain - undulating moorland, a wood behind the rebels position, probably snowing (battle was fought in February)
That's the lot - I hope you enjoy playing it.
