HELP - I think my upgrade to 1.5.3 broke all my mp games

I upgraded (somewhat accidentally) to version 1.5.3. I think I broke all of the multiplayer games I was playing. Is there someway to go back to version1.5.1? I tried a new install, but it only lets me go to 1.5.3.

1.5.3 is now live and you won't be able to play online without it. It has been tested extensively against older ongoing games, so there should be no problem.

What exactly are you seeing?

BA tells me that the Scenario "River of Blood"
File failed to load
Check that the campaign is still installed

Yeah - I'd already grabbed your turn to see what was going on. We missed the case of continuing games using custom scenarios. Normal games should run fine. I will get a fix out in an hour or two - sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for your help.

The patch to 1.5.4 (good job we have lots of numbers...) is now live. Once you grab it you should be able to continue your game.

I updated to the new 1.5.3 and now can not start the game at all. I keep getting "version mismatch" and then back tothe desk top.

You should have updated automatically to 1.5.4. That message only occurs if the EXE and data don't match up, so something must have gone wrong during the update process.

I reinstalled the game, because there was no way to get to the start menu of the game after getting the version mismatch notice. I then updated to 1.5.1 from the previous patch I had downloaded. Game then played with no problems, except of course no MP because I was not running 1.5.4. I shut down and restarted the game, it asked if Iwanted to update to the new version, I said yes. It showed 1.5.3 updating, then 1.5.4 then said update complete. It had written these files in my BA root dir,

17 files 001 thru 017 named 00010501-00010503.001 down thru 00010501-00010503.17

and one file 00010503-00010504.001

But still when I try to run the game I can't, only get "version mismatch" and sends me back to the desk top.

Is there going to be a 1.5.4 patch that we can download and apply, rather than auto update? I had no problem updating to 1.5.1 this way.

In the meantime I am missing my MP games. (:

Can anyone having issues with the 1.5.4 update tell me the contents of their CORE\V.TXT file. I'm not sure why there is an issue specifically with this update in this way.
