Performance:
Performance is good. (AMD Phenom 4 Core 3,2 Ghz, 4 GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 640)
Map Graphics:
I like the graphics overall. (Some Details in First Impressions)
Usability and UI:
Improve the white turn text on black background screen
(Design, Timer, a CLICK TO START / HIT ANY KEY type Message) - high priority
Perhaps an additional zooming step in the middle - low priority

When I click the icon it takes a long time to display the first screen. What about a small loader window to give some feedback in advance. - medium [Edit: Loading is now fast]
I dont like the double white lines around the sidebar - low
I like the look of the sidebar elements - good
long waiting time with the white turn text on black background, perhaps show map with smaller text window - medium
Mouse scroll scale change is working - good
I like the map graphics - good

What about an option to only show the icons and not the hex shading when moving
