immediate game crash

i just bought the digital game. Installed the game. crashed immediately. uninstalled the game.

turned off Norton. installed the game. crashed immediately. here is the message i get:

i tried changing the resolution to different settings but that doesn't help.

This is windows 7 on a Dell XPS.

where do i go from here??

The latets build is 1.5.1. If you get as far as the main menu select check for updates. If not after installing but before running go to slitherine.com and follow the link to download the latest version manually. If you bought from Matrix games then go to their web site for the download. The last manual download may only be 1.4.0 so after installing and running the manual download select check for updates off the main game menu. Keith

Don't see how to get a later version, because i cannot get to the

game screen.

it crashes right where the first graphic appears, with the

salamander, can't get past it..
