Good Paint Job required

Post by jdm »

We are looking for some assistance here

Does anyone have a 25mm/28mm Carthaginian army and /or their Roman opponents, that we might use for some of the proposed photo shots in the rules? If you think your figures fit the bill and are willing to help, can you send me a .jpg close up of some troop types that are typical of the paint job?

Best Regards
JDM

shouldn't you contact manufacturers if you are planning to use their figures?
I'm sure they would be more then willing to have their minis displayed in your rulebook.
As a matter of fact, I was speaking with David of Kingsford Miniatures last weekend at our local conventino about thsi very thing. You can start with him as I know he would love the opportunity and has some wonderfully painted samurai. http://www.kingsfordminiatures.org/

Ok, so I started typing too fast as should have notices you specifically said Carthaginians and Romans. But my general commment applies. Contact the manufacturers.

JD, you can have any of the photos I've taken of my figures. Although, I don't have any Republican Romans or Carthaginians, I do have some nice Early and Middle Imperial Romans, as well as some other stuff. You can check it out at http://www.miniwars.com

At our local store we got two 25-8mm painted armies: Normans (by my boss) and Byzantines (by me). If you need it just tell me and we'll take same pics.

In case you need pics of 15mm armies I could assist you better; I got several DBA armies and I have just finished my AoW Alexandrian army for the playtests.
Here you got an eyecandy...

Well, I have both. My Carthaginians are in the WAB book and my Republicans are of the same standard. You can get me at stuartmcc06@hotmail.com
