Broken game help Pip

I have been playing Lynz for quite awhile in a custom scenario called "A Winter Encounter" and last week I had to reinstall BA and redownload custom scenarios and since then our MP game has not been working. I get an error message when I try to load it. If there is no way for me to play my turn I told Lynz Id ask you to delete the game and free up the space for both of us. Thanks.

What error do you see? Was the scenario originally in the correct place on both machines (I know way back when it was first created some people were placing it in the main game folder).

If we can't get it going I can easily remove the game .

Didn't we suggest that he delete his MyGames\BBCBA folder? Would that effect MP saves?

ok and I do think it was my reinstall that did it, when I reinstalled BA after reinstalling windows I installed BA directly to my C:/ drive instead of into programs files (x86) because guys on wargamer told me that some windows 7 errors with games come about from installing games in the PF file. Is there any way I can fix my game with Linz without unistalling everything again and reinstalling back into program files? otherwise ill do it to fix the game if necessary. [/code]

Yeah I did delete that folder as well, but when i reinstalled BA that folder is back as well. its just that one custom game with lynz that is broken, so i figure its cuz of me reinstalling the game

It sounds like a lot of changes! Do all your other MP games work correctly?

Just one more thought - on W7 it can do very odd things if you run the game mid update when it auto-restarts. Try deleting the My Games/BBCBA folder again now and see if that helps - it should rebuild it, but it might do it with the correct permissions now.

Ok I deleted BBCBA again and went through the tutorial, redownloaded all user scenarios again and same thing, when I click my game with Lynz i get the error and the game freezes, i DtrlAltDel to close BA. otherwise like I said MP games of official scenarios are fine, seems to just be this one custom scenario MP game that isnt working.

Hmmm - I will roll back the turn and see whether that fixes whatever combo of things is causing the problem. If not I can always remove.

yeah I saw you rolled it back, when lynz sends it back here is hoping we are good, but thanks for the help, you guys are very quick and effecient with tech support and its much appreciated.
