Aesthetics request for GB

Post by NotaPacifist »

The artwork that corresponds with the upgrading of GB stategic and tactical fighters has always bugged me. Unless I've installed something wrong, until level six when GB finally gets the Lancaster, you first see a Blenheim, then a Martin Maryland...which you see forever. Would a fair upgrade art-path look like: Blenheim> Vickers wellington>Short Stirling>Lancaster?

Likewise with the tac you start with a Tempest>Typhoon>Mosquito. Wouldn't it be more likely to go: Fairey Battle>Typhoon>Mosquito

Just a request.

From what I know it is not easy to find images of some model of aircrafts in the net (i.e. italian SM-72 Sparviero). You are right about Vickers Wellington as the most produced bomber in UK during WW2 but I really don´t know how difficult would be to find a image of this aircraft that could be able to be edited for the game. Anyway, let me correct you about the british bomber that "you see forever": it is not a Martin Maryland but a Handley Page Hampden british medium bomber.

I stand corrected. You are of course right. Either way...they're both ugly little bombers
