Rules Book

Hi guys I am new to Field of Glory and have a question on the rules book. The question is this: I ordered a copy of "Field of Glory" basic rules but received a copy of "Field of Glory Renaissance". Does Renaissance have the basic rules in the book?

The period of history that I am building my army for is the Roman era not the Renaissance era.

Hi Darrell

I haven't seen the FOGR books but know it is a very different game to basic FOG which is also known as FOGAM.

I would return it for the correct book.

It is a different game and different rule set. Just written by the same crowd. Send it back, and honestly, though I shouldn't say this on here, see if you can pick a copy up on e-bay as they have been out a few years now.
