DAG armies - changing unit strenght

Post by miki »

Hi gents,

Units from DAG armies are made of 300 men and 20 chariots/war machines. Is there a way to change the number of men/machines per unit in DAG generated armies ?

Thanks in advance

I don't think that you can alter the numbers in an actual DAG game, but you most definitely can if you are creating a scenario. It actually doesn't affect the gameplay by doing this though because casualties ae calculated on a percentage basis.

Hi Stockwellpete

Thanks for your response.

I have been browsing through the forum, and using the search utility here a lot, and have found most discussions about unit size and its in game relevance.

Basicly: Size doesn't matter :D

I started off seeing this as a weakness but have changed my mind as you can adjust play balance when designing scenarios by altering unit sizes and changing the number of units in an army without effecting its oval strength which you may want to keep within historical parameters.
