Basic stuff - 1 hit per 2 or 3 - original strenght ?

Other night playing a question came up -

Does the cohesion test at 1hper 3 count against the original strenght of BG
or later lower strenght after losses
I always assumed it was the original number always
Is this correct ?

No, it's the current strength, at least that's how I've always played it. I think it's logical that losses contribute to worsening morale.

Page 173. '1 HPxB = 1 hit per x bases in the battle group'. Nothing about original bases or bases as deployed. How Kevin has it is how I have always seen it played.
