What we need is someone with good, proven, organisational and communication skills - who is central - like the Capital of the World - preferably with experience of running a successful IWF event - to take the lead here.

Do we know anyone like that Dan? :)

Pity. But if it is unwilling or unable to change it will become extinct.

Is someone going to found the WWF now. Or do we have to wait for the pandas to finish with it. Though they appear to have a more promising future than the IWF.

A parrallel 'Worlds' is forming on the dark side of the moon, even as we speak. The UK rep is Bruce Brown. See you all in Manchester (not Athens) in 2012.

Are they a rebel alliance or is the lord of the Sith pulling the strings?

I think it is very disappointing that the formal list checker is providing public commentary on submitted lists before the worlds.
I know you have a big mouth some times Nik but you thought you a little more proffestional that this.

disappointed
Anthony

ps surely others have commented and this should have been retracted after a bit of thought?

Why does this matter? The lists had been submitted and he gave away no detail. I enjoyed the comments.

Adrian

Having seen all the lists here are some entirely biased comments on the offerings.

I'm surprised anyone was upset by Nik's comments - it was just a bit of fun.

And list checking - just like umpiring - isn't a lot of fun - we are fortunate that we have people like Nik available who are prepared to do both.

Nothing new there then. 8)
Congrats on the Testudo bit.
Cheers Dan - if you're coming to Britcon just let me know what you need? Or I can bring a special delivery to Lisbon if my baggage allowance permits?

Perhaps there is a need to form the Federation of Wargaming Countries.
