Post by efthimios »

Inspired by eh, someone here

Just the song you are listening right now.

Live Dance Show DJ ARJAN VITMAN from studio 3 PRO FM 24/7 80's-90's Danceclassics and todays dancehits.

It doesn't say what exactly is the current title though sometimes it does.

The Beau Brummels --- Just A Little

Great San Franciscan beat-folk-rock group from 64-65, their music is naive but I still love them. One of the few beat groups I still listen to (Beatles too).

I'll post a lot here.

The Remains --- "Don't Look Back"

Another 60s group from Boston (like Ultimate Spinach  ). Their leader, Barry Tashian (great singer and acomplished -sp.- writer) and drummer N.C Smart (III, I think) ended up singing/playing with Gram Parsons (founderof Flying Burrito Brothers)

Handel --- Messiah

Paul McCreesh version.

Heard/Read somewhere this is a hit in UK Christmas, but we only know "Hallelujah" down south. Greatest music in the world.

By the way, August 6th is my birthday, but I've already purchased my birthday present: "The Ring Of The Nibelung" tetralogy, 14 CDs by Sir Georg Solti. Can't wait to hear them (in five or six days, I hope  )

Well, Mecano are a bit like eh hmm european pop but not pop music I guess. :? I am terrible classifying music in genres.
The DJ pieces I mentioned are electronic like rave or something music. Then again all of that type is still techno to me

Bruce Willis is, well rock, mostly. Very good actualy. IMHO.

And as for now, Hollaback girl by Gwen Stefani. Stupid lyrics, nice beat, nice to look at video. 8) She still uses the word "shit" a bit too much imo. Also, can someone please explain to me the exact meaning of the word hollaback to me? I can guess but I rather know.

Armand Van Helden feat Spalding Rockwell - Hear my name

BTW, does watching music videos count or they have to be purely audio?

Rage were better than Audioslave IMHO, for some reason they just sounded more gutsy back in the day, wish I'd have seen them live
