Trouble beating Cobra Scenariol; please help!

Any tips? I've been stuck on this one for a while.

Its been a while since I played this one, but from memory and a quick look at the map, you need to take 5 VP: the forward two positions and probably the armor assembly area, the central hill and the village on the left. Your ground forces are a bit thin, but you have a lot of air strikes and artillery. I think I took another Priest when selecting units.

Use the B17 strikes to blast areas with suspected heavy German unit concentration. IIRC, I immediately called a B17 strike on the armor assembly area; by the time I was ready to assault the central hill, I used the second B17 strike to kill/suppress much of what was on the hill before moving in.

The initial B26 raids will provide some suppression in the first 2 VPs, but you still have to be somewhat careful in the approach. In general you have to balance speed of advance so that you 1) don't get picked off running through the open and 2) don't get bogged down applying excessive suppression fire before assaults.

As usual with the Allied advance you want to:
1) keep some artillery in reserve in case you have to suppress newly sighted units. If you can quickly suppress an 88 that ambushes your tank at long range, its much less dangerous.
2) Try to minimize exposure of your armor to long range AT fire. The AI tends to be over aggressive, so if you suspect tanks with 75's and 88's lurking, advance to an area with cover and set up an ambush. Always better to play defense, even when advancing. Again, from memory, after the first two VPs are taken and before the central hill assault, there was a rush of German armor. Best to let them come to you.
