Well done Dave and Leslie on a good victory even if only by one point from the pack of hounds.

A big thanks to the wonderful organisation of Badcon by the Burton lads. It is one of my favourity competitions. The number of calls for the umpire is very low and everyone plays with a good friendly manner.

Hope to see where we came soon. The two Aztec armies are well into the top half of the results. Killing Knights with medium foot in the open is great fun.

I think you might mean this

A BG of Protected Bow Sword Cavalry and a Armoured Bow/Sword Cavalry had routed a BG of Knights in combat*, on the initial rout they hit another Knight BG behind them in a four wide line these had a general, so they went disrupted great not quite.

The Cavalry stopped their pursuit thinking it would have been over the top in beating up another Knight BG the Great Leader not being around to see them doing it and more to the point the Armoured Cavalry were disrupted from the fight before, but sadly for them they stopped inside 4mu of the fresh Knights who I thought might be a bit angry and niffed at seeing their mates run off.

I'm sure the Cavalry, not being able to evade closed their eyes and hoped for the best, loads of dice later the Protected Cavalry were Fragged and the Armoured had drawn their fight, so not looking good.

Loads of movement later we get back to the fight 6 dice from the Knights being disrupted on a plus re-rolling 1's and 2's they achieved 1 hit on the Protected and 2 hits on the Armoured. With my 2 dice on a minus I get a hit from the Protected so were still here and the Armoured Cavalry with their 3 dice get 2 hits they also survive.

In the JAP the Knights rally the Cavalry don't, loads of movement later, we are back to the fight 4 dice each against the both the Cavalry no hits on the Protected and 1 hit on the Armoured, the dice against the Knights from the Cavalry the Protected get 1 hit and the Cavalry 2 hits so the Cavalry win 3 to 1.

The Knights pass the test but the cavalry more to the point have still survived, in the JAP the Armoured Cavalry rally.

After more movement in the shooting Leslie gets the point we needed to win the game, so Cavalry saved again.

But as I say its a game of skill till you throw the dice. :)

*Just to prove we did fight some combats :)
