Baggage

Post by riddcowler »

Will baggage/camps be an integral part of AOW? If so how many pieces will you need, or will the camp be represented by one larger model (as with DBA)?

thanks

IIRC it is represented by a model 120mm x 80mm in 15mm. You could use DBM Bg elements to make this up but as there is no partial removal a single piece model will also do nicely.

I'm sure larger models will be OK as well to allow for those people with pretty Roman marching camps for example.

Yes, AoW has camps and these can be either several small bases or one larger model. There is no need to split the camp into individual bases as in DBM as it is either looted or not.

I imagine that a lot of DBM players will retain their multi base camps but that as people play more AoW single base camps will begin to appear.

Sounds like we can all start working on our Campscene dioramas as a 1-piece :D 8)

Thanks for that...I preferred to make larger camp-type displays for my DBM armies but they usually had to be removed when contacted and replaced by individual elements. With my record perhaps I should just model a camp being sacked from the outset :( .
