These are to replace all the other earlier versions of these scenarios - and they will all be submitted to Slitherine shortly. Once again, thanks to everyone who helped me with the play-testing.

Thanks Pete, still the same problem though, I am getting the currupt header messgae when I unpack these. I suspect it is because there are spaces in the file name which is causing the problems.
Has anyone else encountered this problem with Firefox?
I'll post a help topic on the forums in case no one else bothers Pete.

I have been working on a two-player campaign game to link up all these Wars of the Roses battles. Basically I just have one major problem left to solve (how to add some political intrigue into the game) and then I will be able to start play-tesing with my FOG buddy RussProvan.
One of the things it will mean is that I will be issuing campaign versions of all these scenarios in due course. The main changes will include all the main leaders on both sides being stripped out of each scenario (the minor historical figures will remain) and being replaced with "Yorkist commander 1" or "Lancastrian commander 2". Players will have a list of commanders at the start of the campaign and they will have to nominate them for the various slots in the battles - this then allows historical figures to follow quite different trajectories in each campaign game. For example, Richard of York may not get killed at Wakefield and the Yorkists might decide to make him the king; whereas Edward, Earl of March, might not survive the Battle of Mortimer's Cross so he will never get to be Edward IV.
I have also altered the balance slightly of many of the scenarios so that there is a clearer bias towards the historical victor in the scenario. Usually I try to build in a 2:1 bias, but I have shifted this a bit towards a 5:2 bias. In addition, I have standardised the images for the soldiers across the two factions and tried to make the army compositions even more historically accurate (the main thing has been to increase the proportion of shire levy troops - "poor" experience - in some of the scenarios). There will also be a new battle "Ludford Bridge 1459" and a siege scenario "Bamburgh Castle" will be added to the Lancastrian revolt of 1462-4 (if it occurs in the game, of course). I also need to think about how the campaign handles the 2nd Battle of St Albans 1461 (fought in the town), the siege of Harlech castle (ended 1468) and the "Battle" of Losecoat Field (1470-ish).
I would say that it only makes sense to download these new versions (available in a month or so, I expect) if you are going to play the campaign game. The current versions will still be available from Dropbox after the campaign versions have been released.
