first we suppose that a flank corner is the rightmost or leftmost "front" corner, otherwise it would be rear corner .

A battlegroup with a flank corner touching the rear edge pf field fortifications is immune to the threatened flank caused by the presence of an ennemy mounted battlegroup .

What about portable defence ? . They count as field fortification during impact and melee against mounted . So would they count as field fortifications for threathened flank purpose or do we stick to the strict wording and they are only taken into account during impact and melee ?
