typographical errors in introductions

Post by Happycat »

I am, admittedly, very picky when it comes to proofreading. So if you guys would prefer that I either not post errors that I find, or that I deal with them some other way, feel free to tell me.

That having been said, here is what I have for you as regards the introductions to the scenarios:

1. No problems
2. First sentence: currently says "...intelligence report..." Should be plural "...intelligence reports
Last sentence: currently says "...remember to you give your core units...." Remove the word "you" from before the word "give"
3. No problems
4. Currently says "...it might be a good idea to destroy anti-air units by your ground force..." Should say "...with your ground force."
5. First sentence: currently says "...progress so far was excellent..." replace "was" with "is"
Word "superiority" is spelled wrong in the introduction.
Word "northwestern" is spelled wrong (missing the first "r")
Sentence reads "....a mountain infantry unit which can get to the city quickly, until the enemy has a chance..." This doesn't make sense to me, and I suspect that what it means to say is "....get to the city quickly, before the enemy has a chance..."
Chance favours the prepared mind.

Appreciate it very much, but again those are placeholders at the moment, we have a proper native English writer working to blend it all into a nice story.

So it would be great, once the final texts are done, you could go over those... but at the moment ignore the spelling and sentences.

No problem, I will ignore this. If your proof-reader wants help later, I'm happy to help out. Before I retired, my business required a LOT of written communication, and I also have done a lot of proof reading (including for CNAW, if I recall correctly).
