Cannot register Online - Mac Commader Europe At War

I bought the online version of Commander - Europe At War for my Mac this afternoon.
It downloaded fine but when I go to register online to actually play the game I get a 'cannot connect to server' error message.
I have my registration code but it's just the connection that seems to be letting me down. Firefox connects perfectly and I've even tried disabling my firewall (temporarily!) to no effect...

Is this related to the Freeserve website which is down?

I've emailed info@slitherine but heard nothing back.

Hope someone from Slitherine is reading this as I really want to play this game today and I can't.

Sorry you are having problems. I will chase Freeverse and find out what the issue is.

Hi. I checked the Freeverse website last night and it was working again. I then went through the registration process again and it worked in seconds.
