Been relatively stress free without Rob asking where the runners and riders are every five minutes...

Code: Select all

Chris Proudfoot and Dave Finnegan Muslim Indian Sultanate
Paul Johnson and Paul Dawson Later Lithuanian
Peter Butler and Richard Butler French Ordonnance
Bob Amey and Chris Thorne French Ordonnance
Dave Ruddock and Dave Eltringham Khurasanian Dynasties
Mick Hood and Neil Duffell Central Asian City States
Andy Wallace and Martin Routh Medieval Portugese
Alistair Moore and Roger Greenwood Later Medieval Swedish
Tony Robinson and Paul Crozier Later low Countries
Alan Cole and Paul Carter Tuareg
Chimp and Gibbon Christian Nubian
Dave Hoey and Andy McKay Free Companies
Eric Jonsson and Steve Telford Later Hungarian
Matthew Martin and Andrew Martin Middle Hungarian
Steve Clarke and Martin Buxton Parthian

Neil Howard is a welcome addition to even the numbers. Good luck to all tomorrow.

The two Daves from Derby apologise for not coming but the last time Dave Hutchby went 'up North' his house blew up!!!
No - really it was destroyed by a gas explosion.

Robs not asking for r and rs because doubles is beneath him this year; what with being a top 15 ranked player these days.......

Not sure if he'll talk to me now what with him being so hign up now in the rankings, I fear he'll be with the big boys on the top tables this year :) :)

Who on earth are you talking about here? Dave Hutchby or Dave Elks?

Yeah, but the other Dave R mentioned top of the rankings, therefore I can only assume he wasn't talking about either of the Derby Dave's.

You forget that dave_r is now a logical Hammy (if you can imagine that) and doing the rankings. Don't be surprised if the name of the person on top of the next issue of the rankings starts with 'D'...

Dave R was the Fernando Torres of the first round.

It was the two Pauls who took the glory - home advantage was the key as two dodgy penalties saw them home!

I don't know. Buxton demanded that we leave immediately so I missed the prize givings.

In the end we "did an Amey" and got two 10-10 draws.
