Clash of Empires Companion 3 Errata Detected?

Post by timmy1 »

I thought there should be a thread to capture any items requiring errata should we find them.

Page 44, Early Polish Allies

Serbian Hussars: Bases per BG 4-6, Total bases 0-4. From the T&T response I presume it should be Bases per BG 4 but needs to be confirmed.

(Implied) Page 3, Contents

Under Early Ottoman Turkish it lists 'German States Allies' which should be removed. That list is not in this volume.

Early Imperial Spanish Allies is listed under Later Imperial Austrian and German States. This is incorrect as it is it's own list with Troop Notes so should be a bold bullet referring to page 81, if the Contents are to be consistent.

Page 99, Early Gustavan Swedish Starter Army (1628)

The 'Other infantry regiments deployed in Swedish brigades' line has some of the details of the BGs flowed over to the next line. The text between 'Foot - Pike' and 'Guns' (inclusive) should all be in the 3rd box on the line above.

Page 54, Knights of St John

Under Building a customised list using our army points it states 'Lesser Brethren...'. However these do not appear in the list. I presume these are 'Other brethren, turkopoles etc.' (they are the only other mounted in the list which is a bit of a clue...). Please confirm.

As I recall when I was doing the list and Richard and Nik were challenging it we used a few terms for these but your contention and conclusions are right.

Text for Wallachian, etc list., pg 21, 1st paragraph, incorrectly gives date of Mohacs as 1626

Page 34. Ivan IV was unlikelyto have ascended the throne in 1457 as he was not born until 1530. I think 1547 is the right date.
