start preparing early.

Scale: 15mm
Points: No more than 800 points
Time period: 3000 BC - 1500 AD

Submitting Army Lists
Army lists must be submitted in a legible format, clearly identifying all
options relevant to the composition of your army.
Your army list must be submitted with the following;
(1) Complete summary of all troop types using correct descriptions, individual
points values and an overall summation of points that does not exceed 800
points.
(2) Also include the number of battlegroups and their order of deployment.
Lists failing to provide the above details will be returned for resubmission.
Once an army list has been submitted it may not be changed or altered other than
to correct any errors discovered by the event organisers.
More details will come out over time.

Cancon results
Well, run and won for another year. The full results will be posted shortly but
in summary
1st place - Shaun Drummond - Catalan Company
2nd place - Alex Inglis - Santa Hermandad
3rd place - Paul Rattray - Late Ottoman Turk
The final results at the end of 3 days and 6 games were close - to illustrate - Paul
Rattray and I were playing each other in game 6 and either could have grabbed
3rd with a good result. I ended up 13th!
A few people have raised the issue that the comp is played quite seriously, with
some players wanting to keep to a close and strict interpretation of the rules -
taking away the enjoyment of players seeking a less competitive outlook. This
is something we need to address, else players will be discouraged from
attending.
Thanks all who attended and played.

I'm intrigued....A few people have raised the issue that the comp is played quite seriously, with
some players wanting to keep to a close and strict interpretation of the rules -
taking away the enjoyment of players seeking a less competitive outlook.
Any specifics you'd like to share with the forum?

I believe somebody withdrew from the competition because they felt it was too intense/competitive - they weren't enjoying it.
