Bad files on CD

For my order PL-1218375, I have an executable on my CD only 8 bytes worth. I thought it odd that so little was written on the CD (looking at the CD itself), and of course nothing at all happened when I attempted an install. This is by no means a crisis as such, as I have the executable from the download stored on my other computer, but I did pay for a physical backup so it does irk me a little.
