Canada entered the war on the side of the Allies one week after Britain and France DOW'ed Germany in 1939. Is there a particular reason for this not being the case in the GS?

Canada entered the war on the side of the Allies one week after Britain and France DOW'ed Germany in 1939. Is there a particular reason for this not being the case in the GS?

They sort of are as they immediately contribute a fighter, mechanized corps and infantry corps to Britain at the start of the game. Canada not being at war was a mechanism that we used back in the BJR-mod day's to make available the US LL DD's in May of 1941. However; this squadron is now spawned instead of held captive by being blocked by the "Canadian" neutral port. To be honest this is probably something we need to relook and do a bit more historically.
