Comment after playing North Africa and Normandy campaign

And actually 1st scenario of the ardennes during which the artillery just fire at my back when I was still holding the front.

First, I have always succeeding to hold all objectives against the IA in defense scenario. So I wonder if it is voluntary that they are easy?
Second thing, the flag are placed in undefendable place. I would never put a unit on a flag position unless I want to take it. But the computer rush a tank or other stupid unit to the flag whenmy defence are intact (though not firing) and they got slaughtered the next turn (logical they are in the open in the middle of my intact defence). BUT I have failed the bonus point because I lost an objectif. I don't see the point? This is rather illogic. Such objectif should be on building not in the middle of the road.

Second, is there a complete manual? The tips seems to be where you learn the game not the manual.......
Best regards,

I cant hold the Bulge 1 front VP's. I think you are just very good :)

Play it to the end as if you front load your defences too much you may find when the heavies arrive you get overwhelmed and have nothing to slow them down at the back.

If you want/need to hold unprotected VPs in the open you really need to establish a defense a few tiles in front of them. If all your units are hidden in protected positions around it there's a fair chance an enemy unit may slip through and "break through" your line. If all VPs were in buildings tanks would never be able to capture them. So to protect these, you may have to risk some units in less well protected positions. Or at least establish a defense well ahead of it.

I pretty much understand that. I just think that holding a village does not mean just having a tank for one minute on the place before it is destroyed. I think that an area control system would be nicer (like who have most unit in a3x3 or 5x5 area, for holding you need to have clean every thing but for losing it you have to cleaned, otherwise the point is contested).

Otherwise, well, I do hold all VP at the end of Bulge one scenario without retreating to second line (I might have been luky when assaulting the Panther) but I have to hide everyone in concealed position, as the front objectif on the left is too advance to make an advance defence line (would mean putting unit in the wield open).

About the IA, in Bulge one, the panzerwelfer moved in firing range after having fired as artillery, I think it is flawed. It should stay hidden to fire again.

Anyway just suggestion, I do have lots of expereince and it look like a teaching game, so don't make it too hard for beginners.
